It may have taken several months of delays, but it appears to be all systems go for Miami Beach’s upcoming inaugural Miami Beach Pop Festival. The festival will take place on November 10^th at Lummus Park extending from 5^th to 10^th Street and it will feature a broad array of artists from different musical genres.

Some of the names expected to make an appearance at the Miami Beach Pop Festival may seem quite familiar. Daddy Yankee, Chance the Rapper, and Norwegian DJ Kygo are among the musical acts that will perform. They will be joined by other names like the critically-acclaimed American rock band The Raconteurs fronted by widely regarded musician Jack White, Nile Rodgers and Chic, country singer-songwriter Margo Price, and many more.

Besides the eclectic array of music, the Miami Beach Pop Festival will also feature lots of culinary delights courtesy of chef and local restaurateur Michael Schwartz, who has received the prestigious James Beard Award. Furthermore, the Miami Beach Pop Festival is placing a strong emphasis on the importance of sustainability. It is pledging to stick to recyclable and biodegradable materials.

Miami Spice Is Bigger and Better Than Ever

When you’re trying to perfect your summer beach body and sticking to a strict diet, there is the risk of temptation. With all of the different, delicious foods available, it can be difficult to stay on track. Now, Miami Spice is returning to make it even harder to avoid enjoying a great bite in the Magic City.

For those that have never experienced Miami Spice, the annual event involves promotion where numerous restaurants offer a three-course, fixed-price brunch and lunch menu for $23 a person as well as dinner for $39. Each restaurant decides whether it will offer both menus or just one, and some of them do not offer the Miami Spice promotion on the weekends.

This year, a bunch of new restaurants are joining Miami Spice. The new Coral Gables eatery Ad Lib is one notable addition and so is South Miami’s Fiola. Right here in Miami Beach, the Jim and Neese located at the Generator hotel will also be participating in the promotion which kicks off on August 1^st through September 30^th.

A New Miami Beach Hotel Is Soon to Open

Miami Beach will soon be receiving another taste of South America when the Lennox Hotel Miami Beach makes its stylish debut this summer on Collins Avenue. A project by the similarly named Argentinian hotel group Lennox Hotels, the building, will occupy the home of the Peter Miller Hotel, a building found in the Historic District.

In keeping with Miami Beach’s Art Deco flair, the Lennox Hotel will boast a classic architecture yet still modern architecture. Inside of the building there will be over 100 guest rooms, thirteen of which will boast a feature commonly found in upscale luxury condos: wraparound balconies. Each of these rooms features interior design courtesy of designer, architect, and Argentinian Juan Ciavarell, who is also responsible for curating the artwork.

A major feature of the Lennox Hotel will be its swimming pool located inside the courtyard designed in a Mediterranean style. Future guests will be able to sunbathe and there will also be a cocktail bar located by the poolside for some fun and great drinks.

All Eyes Are on Time Out Market

After a massive amount of hype, Miami Beach’s Time Out Market now has an official grand opening date scheduled. The upcoming food hall’s roster has added two more spots and those wishing to get a taste of what could be the best food hall cuisine in the city should clear their schedule for May 9.

For those eager to give it a try, Time Out Market will open its doors bright and early at 8 am and will feature over fifteen distinct restaurants, three different bars, plus a demo kitchen. Also adding to its allure is Miguel Massens, a man who has earned his experience working with restaurants that have received the honored Michelin star, including California’s The French Laundry. Should you wish to get to know Massens, he will spend most of his time in Time Out Market’s demo kitchen.

Miguel Massens isn’t the only person lending his talents to Time Out Market. K’West by Norman Van Aken will bring a genuine taste of the Florida Keys to Miami Beach. Aken will also launch another location for his pizza restaurant, suitably called Beach Pie. Other noteworthy names that will bring their culinary skills to Time Out Market include pastry whiz Antonio Bachour, the Stubborn Seed’s Jeremy Ford, and Suzy Batlle of Azucar, to name a few.

Miami Beach’s Memorial Day weekend has been practically synonymous with the popular Urban Beach Week, which is known for its lively parties and concerts centered around hip-hop. Tomorrow is the big day, ladies and gentlemen. The hotly anticipated Time Out Market is finally opening its doors to the Miami Beach public. This sprawling 17,000+ square foot food hall will have over sixteen different eateries consisting of local and well-known names.

Time
Out Market made its debut in Lisbon, Portugal where it quickly became a popular
attraction among tourists. By focusing on hiring the finest culinary talent in
the city and placing them all under a single roof, the food hall has taken off.
Best of all, the majority of the food items in Time Out Market hover around $20
and under, which means you won’t have to break the bank to enjoy a great meal
in the barrier island.

When
you first step foot inside Time Out Market, the sheer amount of options
available may seem overwhelming, but it’s largely a matter of taking the time
