The World’s Greatest Tennis Players Return to Miami

The famed Miami Open tennis tournament is currently the most popular ticket in town. The Miami Open is hosted at Hard Rock Stadium on Miami’s north side. The tournament runs from March 21 to April 3 and features a tennis oasis with 30 exhibition and practice courts, the world’s largest television screen and a 14,000-seat Center Court, making it ideal for both players and spectators.

Miami’s bustling nightlife, five-star hotels and restaurants, stunning weather and celebrity appeal make the two-week combined event the most luxurious stop on the ATP and WTA calendars. Tennis fans can look forward to two weeks of world-class action at the Hard Rock Stadium courts. Fans can enjoy food, music, and artwork created by some of Miami’s most talented artists as part of their experience. To accommodate the growing number of tennis fans, Hard Rock Stadium has renovated its Stadium Court to incorporate new infrastructure, increased seats on the outside courts, and more green space for them to enjoy in between sets.

Hungarian Hubert Hurkacz, who won the title last year, returns to the men’s draw. He’ll face a strong field that includes the defending champion Daniil Medvedev (who won the US Open) and World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev as well as Olympic gold medalist Alexander Zverev. Other notable players include Marin Cilic, Dominic Thiem, and Andy Murray, all of whom have won Grand Slams.

South Florida’s Real Estate Market Continues to Stay Hot

South Florida’s Real Estate Market Continues to Stay HotThere’s no denying that Florida has become a popular destination in recent years. According to projections from the Florida Chamber of Commerce, an estimated 26 million people will move to South Florida by 2030. The real estate market in South Florida has been driven by population growth, which has been fueled by people and businesses migrating from high-tax urban areas.

Miami’s real estate market continues to set new records as a result of pent-up demand and historically low mortgage rates, which continues to stimulate real estate transactions. It’s also because more Americans and businesses are coming to South Florida from high-tax, high-density cities, which is fueling demand for real estate in the area. Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data shows that Miami-Dade County real estate had its best-ever December sales month in 2021, closing out the historic year with a slew of year-end records, including the most annual total home sales, the highest annual dollar volume, the highest number of single-family home sales, most condo transactions and numerous other milestones.

Many people from the northeastern states have moved to Florida because of its low cost of living, pleasant climate, and less restrictive atmosphere. As a result of the remote work revolution, many telecommuters are able to work from a warm environment without having to pay state income tax in South Florida. While rising home prices may be bad news for many homeowners, it’s good news for Continuum South Beach rental property investors, helping to explain why rental growth and demand in South Florida are so high.

3 Benefits of Buying a Condo in Miami

3 Benefits of Buying a Condo in MiamiCondo living has been popular for a variety of people for years. They offer you the ownership and control of home-buying while still providing the freedom and flexibility of renting an apartment (but it’s much better with a condo since they have more amenities and upgrades). If you’re thinking about purchasing your own condo from Continuum condos for sale, here are three reasons to nudge you in the right direction.

Condos in Miami are significantly more adorable than single-family homes. This is especially true for first-time homebuyers. Condos are also cheaper to purchase than what it would cost you to rent out an apartment. It’s all about the investment, and long-term, they can provide a great one.

Plus, while the single-family home market continues to have a shortage of inventory, more condos are popping up all around, making places like Continuum South Beach a great place to live.

If you own a condo, your insurance cost is likely to be far less than it would be to have homeowner’s insurance. This is because only the inside of the unit is covered, so no need to worry about roofs and backyards. The HOA fee covers the exterior costs of the building.

You won’t get all the amazing amenities steps away from your front door in a home. If you want to spend a day at the pool, you may have to go to a crowded community pool or bribe a friend to let you hang out with them all day. Plus, maintaining your own pool can become a hassle and rack up quite the bill. However, at Continuum South Beach, we have an upgraded pool available to our residents to hang out in and enjoy some Miami sunshine.

Along with our pool, we have an abundance of amenities such as our gym, outdoor restaurant, and 24-hour security.

Formula 1 Coming to Miami in May

Formula 1 Coming to Miami in MayIn May of this year, Miami will be added to the list (which currently only has one other location in Austin, TX) of places that host the United States Grand Prix from Formula 1. This is big news for Miami and is sure to generate lots of excitement with its arrival.

The Miami Grand Prix is the first of a 10-year contract. The race will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, north of downtown. Yep – that’s the same place the Miami Dolphins play!

Miami’s Formula 1 race will take place on May 8 – five months before Austin’s event in October.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes notes of the addition, “It’s such a huge country; having just one race here isn’t enough to really be able to tap into the sporting culture and really encapsulate the fans…to get them on the journey with us I think definitely we need to have at least two. Miami is going to be incredible.”

Fernando Alonso from Alpine, a Formula 1 team, based in Enstone, United Kingdom, says of Miami, ‘There was a lot of interest from the local journalists and the people…they are really willing to host the race and make that weekend very special for the whole community. I felt a very strong vibe there.”

Tickets are on sale now for the race and are anticipated to sell out.
