Maison&Objet, A High-End Design Show Coming to Miami

One of the most alluring things about living at the Continuum South Beach– aside from its rich amenities, prime location, and luxurious residences – is its proximity to a wide range of exciting activities and attractions. Not a week passes without an interesting and unique even to look forward to for every lifestyle.

On May 12-15 of 2015, Maison&Objet, a high end interior design show will be coming to Miami Beach and it is being regarded as the Art Basel of design. Similar to Art Basel, this show is going to additionally feature different smaller shows, exclusive parties, and related events.

In the interior design world, this is a huge event and the city of Miami is expecting Maison&Objet to continuously evolve such as Art Basel and Swim Week have.

Thus far, there isn’t anything like this particular fair in the United States. The show, Maison&Objet, has aParisshow which has been able to bring in 80,000 visitors, 3,000 trade exhibitors, and 3,500 journalists twice every year. Additionally, according to their website, almost half of the visitors that go to the show are international.

In Miami, the main fair will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center and it is expected to attract 6,000 visitors, with 200 exhibitors, and about 250 journalists, many of them coming from all over the world. Hopefully, the City of Miami will be taking after the Maison&Objet show in Singapore which was very successful in it’s premiere year this year and will therefore be happening again next March.

Miami is a great choice for the show as it will get the attention of visitors from North America and Latin America. Plus, Maison&Objet will also be featuring a lot of community involvement as a big focus of the show, even though the details have not been confirmed yet.
