Weintraub, the MiMo-style building is a historical treasure to Miami. MiMo, short for Miami Modernist architecture, is a style unique to South Florida, established in the postwar era of roughly 1945 to 1979. The style is internationally recognized and prides itself on glamour, fun, and a minimalist efficiency set by the period. MiMo architecture can be seen today throughout Middle and Upper Miami Beach, along with the Biscayne Boulevard Corridor, Midtown, the Design District, and the Upper East Side.
