The popular Food Bonanza from Smorgasburg is coming to Miami. This once-a-week open-air food market can be found in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami starting March 2022. This is the market’s third permanent location in the United States, with other locations located in New York City and Los Angeles.

The name comes from the Swedish word smorgasbord, which can be translated as a wide variety of food. Smorgasburg made its first appearance in Williamsburg, New York City, in 2011. Popular dishes that have become a viral sensation have come from the market, including ramen burgers, raindrop cake, and spaghetti doughnuts.

In 2016, the market expanded its list of locations to include Los Angeles and added in annual pop-ups in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Japan.

The largest open-air food market will be open on Saturdays only, in a 50,000 square foot park setting, with 60 local food vendors and ten retailers. Brunch will also be available on Christmas Day and will induce a special festive menu and elaborate ice sculptures. Christmas brunch is $145 per adult and $65 for children ages 5 to 12, from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
