The Yappie Hour is perfect for those that are fans of man’s best friend. But what if your inclinations skew more towards felines? If so, The Cat Cafe South Beach on Washington Avenue invites you to enjoy coffee or tea and then walk over to the cat adoption area for some kitty cuddles.
The late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain was known to be a frequent patron of Mac’s Club Deuce on 14th Street, often considered to be the last genuine dive bar in the city. Not much about the bar has changed since its opening in the 1960s and you may still spot a culinary celebrity like chef and television personality Anne Burrell.

Inside of Villa Casa Casuarina (the former home of late fashion designer Gianni Versace) is Sushi by Bou, a restaurant measuring a mere 500 square feet. Some of the menu items you may wish to try include soy sauce-marinated ikura, though the menu changes every day. Make sure to request your reservation well in advance.
