Become Miami’s Master Brewer

If you’ve had the pleasure of trying some great professional brew, chances are the brains behind it received at least a portion of their training by experimenting with homebrewing. Of course there is a significant difference between preparing some brew for your friends and being a professional, and that’s where the Master Brewer Academy comes in.

A recent addition to Miami, the Master Brewer Academy will be teaching its first class next month, on the 29th to be exact. The class aims to elevate homebrewing to a new level, with students learning how to make beer on a much larger industrial scale. The twelve week class is broken down into steps, beginning with the science behind brewing during the first month and continuing into topics like how to run a business, how to cask beer, utilizing wild yeast strains, and more. Upon completion, students will complete a three week internship and will receive certificates of completion.

If you’re interested in Master Brewer Academy, you should know that the classes are intended for people with at least some degree of knowledge on how to brew a beer, novices may have a harder time.
